Q&A with Dr. Schlessinger

Your commonly asked questions answered.

  • What skin types are appropriate for HALO?
  • How many treatments are needed to see results?
  • Will I be numbed for my HALO treatment?
  • Why are HALO laser treatments right for me?
  • Is there swelling with HALO?

“Halo is one of the most impressive non-invasive treatments I have ever seen. People can see an immediate tightening and glow with improvement of the quality of the facial, neck and chest areas after treatment. We often combine it with the BBL HERO and/or SkinTyte for further improvement, but it results in a very nice improvement not only immediately, but over time. Generally, there is swelling that will last about a day, but after that it is easy to go out and about. Crusting will occur for the first few days and then a beautiful glowing skin is revealed. We recommend one to two treatments over a period of a month or so, but most patients repeat it every six months or so if they wish to see continued improvement. Depending on the depth of the treatment, we will use various topical anesthetics, which help to make the procedure nearly painless.”
